4228 Automatic Glass Cutting Line Overview
Maximum processing size: 4200 × 2800 mm, suitable for large façade and furniture glass orders. Compared with standard 3660 × 2440 machines, the 4228 processes larger sheets for improved material utilization.
- Large-sheet capacity for oversized orders. Processes sheets up to 4200 × 2800 mm and glass thicknesses of 3–19 mm for architectural and photovoltaic applications.
- Dual-servo gantry drive for stable large-sheet cutting precision. Yaskawa servo drives on the X/Y axes provide a rigid dual-drive gantry. Diagonal accuracy is ≤±0.25 mm/m, with precision maintained for straight and shaped cuts.
- A complete integrated production line. Automatic vacuum loading, CNC cutting and breakout are integrated. Coating removal, labelling, laser marking and waste collection can be added. The complete line can be supervised by 1–2 operators.
- Intelligent cutting optimization software. Integrated nesting algorithms are optimized for 4228 large sheets and remnant management. Supports DXF imports and connection to Paier ERP.
- Heavy-duty frame for long-term structural stability. The welded Q345 manganese-steel frame is aged and stress-relieved. Automatic centralized lubrication reduces maintenance requirements.
- 360° rotating cutting head for straight and shaped cuts. The imported rotating cutting head processes straight lines, circles and shaped contours, with cutting pressure automatically adjusted to glass thickness.
- Vacuum handling and air flotation protect large glass sheets. Air-flotation transfer reduces friction. The optimized suction-cup layout provides secure handling of 4200 mm sheets.
- Higher capacity for large-scale glass processing. Larger sheets produce more finished pieces. The line supports continuous 24-hour, three-shift operation for consistent production scheduling.
- Flexible modular expansion. Tilting tables, sorting tables and glass storage systems can be added later to increase capacity without replacing the main machine.
- Multiple safety alarms and protective functions. Cutting-head collision protection, vacuum-pressure monitoring and automatic fault alarms help reduce equipment damage and workplace risks.
